Resume

Stripe

In March 2022, I joined Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the United States.

I worked with Stripe’s largest customers to design and execute implementation plans for Stripe’s products.

Additionally, I developed and piloted a new type of engagement designed to train existing customers on their integration. Resulted in a successful pilot with a large enterprise customer.

MANTL

In September 2021, I joined MANTL, a SaaS startup focused on account opening software for regional banks and credit unions in the United States.

I worked with MANTL’s customers to implement the solution, offering best practices for using MANTL during the implementation process.

Virtu Financial

I joined Virtu Financial in October 2019 to implement EMS, dark pool and algorithmic trading products for clients. During my time there, I worked on dozens of major projects and hundreds of day-to-day tasks for those three focus areas.

In addition to equity-focused onboarding projects, I developed an onboarding plan for fixed income projects from the ground up. I worked independently with the head of fixed income business development along with other stakeholder groups to implement various clients for fixed income trading scenarios.

Since the onboarding/implementations team touched most aspects of taking a new client live (or taking an existing client live with ancillary products), the team also completed many post-merger integration items for the firm, tying up loose aspects from both the KCG and ITG mergers.

Bloomberg, LP

At Bloomberg, I worked on a sell-side equity trading product called SSEOMS. I was an account manager, application support manager, and support representative at different points throughout my time there.

During my time as an account manager for SSEOMS, I was responsible for retaining existing revenue and driving incremental revenue at SSEOMS clients. I worked with clients on various projects to further integrate SSEOMS into their workflow and reduce risk of removals. Due to the hands-on nature of SSEOMS, I partnered with colleagues across Bloomberg to introduce clients to other Bloomberg products that may be appropriate for their workflow.

Before my time as an account manager for SSEOMS, I ran SSEOMS application support in the Americas. I right-sized and diversified the team. I worked with product and engineering to determine code rollout pain points, better strategies for rollout, and tools to help my team recover from production support issues quickly. I also communicated with clients more often about upcoming changes/features as well as ongoing outages.

As a support rep for SSEOMS, I was the initial point of contact for SSEOMS clients asking general questions as well as clients reporting issues with the software. As a senior member of the team, I looked at issues with teammates to determine if we needed to send an issue to engineering, or if we could fix the issue on the fly with a production configuration change. Additionally, I developed more than 50 hours of classroom training for SSEOMS and ran the program in-person many times as both a support rep and application support manager.

Northshore Capital Advisors

During the summer while working on my MBA, I worked as a financial analyst intern for Northshore Capital Advisors, a boutique investment bank in Knoxville, TN. I performed due diligence and modeling for potential deals that the firm was interested in facilitating.

Most of the work was focused on 3GS, LLC, a company that Northshore and other affiliated companies were growing through acquisition.

University of Tennessee - Knoxville /
Masters Investment Learning Center

During my MBA, I worked in an on-campus lab dedicated to financial markets and data. The lab contained 16 Bloomberg terminals. I was responsible for opening and closing the lab as well as developing curriculum for graduate and undergraduate students to learn the Bloomberg terminal. I also assisted professors in pulling market and company data for research projects.

Apple, Inc.

During my undergraduate time at University of Tennessee - Knoxville, I worked at Apple’s company-owned-retail store in West Town Mall. I sold everything from headphones to complex computing solutions for businesses and anything in between.

Apple is where I learned and understood the consultative approach to sales - and it’s served me well ever since.
